Helping Former Inmates Transition Back Into Society

Preparing Inmates for Life After Prison

Zion Redemption helps prepare men to leave county jail and reenter society with a positive outlook—ready to succeed. We offer mentor-ships, life skills training sessions,  in Houston, Texas.

We also offer programs that teach personal responsibility, the value of education and hard work, and care for people and their property so that ex-offenders are prepared to thrive in their communities after release.

In addition, we teach ex-inmates how to study and apply biblical truths, create resumes, and business plans, and develop leadership skills.

Ministry Philosophy

God knows what is best for us, and he knows even better than we do what we really want. We must trust him completely in every choice we make. We should not omit careful thinking or belittle our God-given ability to reason, and we should not trust our own ideas to the exclusion of all others.

We must not be wise in our own eyes. We should always be willing to listen to and be corrected by God's Word and wise counselors. We must always bring all our decisions to God in prayer, use the Bible as our guide, and follow His lead. We know that if we are obedient to Him, He will make our paths straight by guiding and protecting us.

Hope for ex-offenders commits to lending a hand to individuals to successfully unite with their families and reenter the workforce and our community. If you release someone with the same skills with which they came in, they are going to get involved in the same activities as they did before.
